I've been flaking on the May blog Challenge.
Pet Peeves:
1.) People that don't pay attention to road signs signaling the end of a lane and rush ahead only to expect to be let in.
2.) The fact that my husband never takes a picture of me with the kids. Seriously.
3.) When people write in my notebooks. Iggy's usually the culprit. I hate to buy a new cute little notebook only to have him scrawl in something meaningless to me.
4.) liars and hypocrites. I have an annoying person in my life that lies all the time on the smallest dumbest things, but I'll always hear 3 versions of 1 story over time.
5.) plastic packaging on toys. I always amp it up for Anna and then I'm there like an idiot trying to peel it away and twist bits off and she loses interest.
6.) when people use the phone in my car. I seethe.
7.)when people try to change my religious preference. I'm 24 and I've given serious thought to my religion. You're not going to suddenly change my thoughts in 5 minutes.
8.) sloppy people. I'm fancy. I don't expect you to be fancy. Just be presentable. I wish I grew up before the 60's when it was indecent to go out with uncombed hair and yucky clothes.
9.) bad parents. When you have kids, they come first.always.
10.) There is a "no turn on red" sign close to my home. Every time I'm the first person at the curb I tense up because I know some blind impatient moron behind me is going to honk while I'm waiting for the light to turn green.
Yesterday we went to the Santa Ana Discovery Cube because it was the last day of the Dora/Diego exhibit and I'm a bad mom and my daughter totally knows who Dora is and what she's about.

Anna got so happy when she saw all the Dora/Diego stuff everywhere haha

Iggy was more fascinated with the tornado exhibit than Anna.

Anna LOVED this constellation thing. It was basically a bunch of thick plastic stars that you peg in the holes and they would light up.

Dora Star slide!

She seriously thought she was rock climbing haha.

The one picture of me. Seriously if I don't hand the camera to Iggy and yell at him to take a picture of me, there would be no evidence of my existence.

Wooden flower pegs

In this little portion Anna was supposed to "plant" the flowers by sticking them in the holes and she took it very seriously.

At Tico's nutty forest most of the exhibits ran on "nuts" (balls) and the kids had to keep them from Swiper or fuel up Diego's eco friendly car (how lame am I that I know all these people?).

It's the Taco Bell Discovery Cube so obviously the only food in the place was Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.

On the way out Anna noticed the pirate ship and we had to spend an hour watching her put the coins in the slot haha. #4 on the sign made me laugh because it was so anti-pirate so I took a picture.
