Bed Tyrant

I never thought I'd say the words (at least so soon) but:

I need to get Anna out of my bed.

I know, I know, everyone can say "I told you so" in one big swoop.

But I'd like you all to know, I'm a very tolerant person.

I can deal with an extra little person in my bed.

I can deal when that little person develops a penchant for sleeping horizontally instead of vertically and having to move her right side up 3 times a night.

I can find humor in a baby showing favoritism towards MY memory foam pillow.

I can febreze said memory foam pillow that reeks of urine because apparently there's no other way to wash it.

I can not deal with, however, a mean little bed tyrant.

A pillow squirrel that needs to have all the pillows stockpiled in one corner leaving me and and Iggy with nothing but mattress.




At first it was just my pillow.

Fine. Whatever.

But now she won't even give us the pancake pillows. In fact she woke me up at 3am one night because the pancake pillow was jammed between the wall and bed and as soon as I wedged it free she chuckled in relief and used it as a blanket.


***see that crayon and PEN on the wall?! I didn't even flip over that!**


Heaven forbid she sees you looking comfortable in her bed.
And when I try to correct her sleeping position that allows zero other people on the bed? I get kicked, smacked OR we get to hear her scream for 20 minutes.

And then the baby gets woken up and starts crying.


Soooo....we're moving her to her little bed this week =)


I mean.... =(.

Please pray for her little spirit.
