Over the Weekend:

Iggy had to work on Saturday, so my parents invited the kids and I to go to Seal Beach with them, their new little weekend spot. I can't remember going to Seal Beach, it's only 20 minutes away, but for some reason we always choose other beaches to go to.



The shopping itself wasn't that  great, I only saw one store where I'd want to shop at, but it was considerably less packed than other beach front malls, and the actual beach was a short walk away and lots of free parking.  I would definitely go there again for the beach, I'm always torn when I go to Santa Monica because there is so much to do, and other beaches ( Huntington) don't have a whole lot to eat/drink nearby.

 

They've been raving about Athen's West, a greek restaurant, so we went there for lunch. The only problem was poor Anna fell asleep during the car ride there and stayed asleep when I moved her to the stroller, but my super big double didn't fit through the narrow doors. The worst part of having a side by side double is the moment when you're not entirely sure you can fit through the doorway but there is a sliver of a chance you might. And you don't.

So I had to wake a teary Anna from her sleep.


She was furious until the food showed up, and then waiter gave her a lolly and she beamed at him.




Baby Iggy adores my dad. His little face splits into the biggest smile when he see's him. So for him to spend the day with my dad outside was like a dream come true for him haha.

Saturday night I asked Iggy what time he wanted to go to mass and he said 8:00am so we can see his mom and aunts.

I agreed even though this morning I was mentally chewing him out for having to wake up at 6:00am to feed the kids, get them dressed, myself dressed and packed and he leisurely wakes up at 7:25am haha.

After mass we went out for breakfast and came home and Anna wanted to color:

p.s I am super annoyed with photobucket. It would seriously not save any updates to my pictures and I rely on it to resize my images, and it would just say "changes saved!" but it wouldn't. I ended up having to save it as a copy to make it work.

Does anyone else have a similar website or app that they use that isn't all buggy (this has been happening for awhile but not to the extent it was this weekend)?
