(writing at midnight because you're excited that EVERYONE is asleep probably won't produce the best post, but no matter)
For the past two or three weeks I've silently stewed as everyone on the blogosphere welcomed fall. I was still cranking up the AC daily. Fall drinks were available in my starbucks/coffee bean but it felt wrong in all this summer weather.
But yesterday I didn't have to turn it on at all!!! Sure I was still wearing a tank top and shorts, but PROGRESS.
Today God smiled at us and it rained. I love rain. I also love going on facebook ASAP when the weather changes and hearing about how everyone loves the rain. We're SoCal people, we think rain is quaint.
It's been so long that it's rained I grabbed Anna and took her outside. She too, was amused.

Baby Iggy was pretty relaxed all day, I gave him a mid-morning bath and slathered him in my favorite baby lotion (shea moisture organic in olive and marula) more for me than for him, since I love that scent so much, and put him in a fuzzy footie pj and snuggled him all day. He adores being snuggled. Anna only lets me snuggle her when she's particularly fond of me and/or I make her fideo soup. I make fideo soup a lot.
P.S baby Iggy has been using his left hand more. I was going to call the physical therapist once and for all and walked in on him calmly sipping his bottle, held with both hands.

Silly Mama.

I had a long wait at the doctor's office so I messed around with a lot of my pictures haha:

Baby Iggy's own feeding stuff came in today!!

I had been meaning to order him stuff but I kept getting distracted because I wanted THE CUTEST instead of whatever was at Target (I know) and so poor baby Iggy was mooching off Anna's tableware this whole month that he started eating, pink weaning spoon and princess bowl and everything.

Gahhh I love this little face. He's so happy and smiley I often look at him and wonder if he remembers all those months in the hospital miles away from us. And I tear up still.
This month last year:

Baby Iggy was safe in my belly for a few more weeks and Anna was clinging to me using me as a walker. I'm probably going to need a new baby in a couple of years haha.
Anna is begrudgingly playing with her brother more now:

I'LL TAKE IT!! It hurt me when Anna would ignore him, I wanted her to love him but at the same time I understood because I had been spending a lot of time at the hospitals away from her for 4 months then I brought another baby into our home. Her reaction wasn't abnormal, but she still ignores him an awful lot if I don't press her to play with him. Baby Iggy is over the moon when she gives him a little attention though haha. My mom watched them when I went to the doctor today and she said Baby Iggy had a little something on his face and Anna grabbed a wipe and gently rubbed it off his face <33 burst.="burst." heart="heart" p="p">
