pumpkin patch!

Yesterday I went to the church office to pick up my cookie tupperware and I drove by two little pumpkin patches. I excitedly called Iggy to ask him if he wanted to take Anna and I got a big fat no. Today I kept needling him and finally I just told him I'd take the kids alone and he sighed and put on his jacket. And we had a great time. That's how it always is.

Okay, so it was my grand idea to go to this little pumpkin patch....yet these losers skip on ahead and leave me frantically buckling baby Iggy in the stroller and jogging to catch up to them.

My little mama on her first pony ride!! This was the kind of thing where it could go either way, she could love it or cry to get off.

My little cowgirl grabbed the reigns so confidently I almost imagined her kicking the horse in a"giddyup".

The picture hole thing was another thing my negative little heart wasn't expecting to go so well. Anna likes to be contrary so telling her something like "stick your face in and smile" is kind of dumb but she was on such a happy high from all the newness she worked with me.

I went in the petting zoo with Anna and the animals were just laying on the ground when we were outside but as soon as we went in they all hopped up ready to be fed. The lama was as big as me so you could imagine my discomfort. Little Anna might end up a farmer's wife she was so good with them haha. She got the hang of feeding them quickly, even though there was a sign forbidding under 3 year olds from feeding ( I think the guy helping us was smitten by her).

I thought the bounce houses were a little too big for Anna, but I figured there wouldn't be too many kids there so she would be fine. She kept trying to scale the climby thing to go on the huge slides though and I kid of helped her. and kept helping her. Iggy was originally against the idea telling me I was too big, and pointed out the height requirements and....I met them so he let me go haha. It was so much fun, Anna was so into it, she'd fling herself down the bouncy slide with reckless abandon and cackle all the way down haha. I was on there with her so naturally Iggy didn't take pictures. If I die tomorrow my kids are probably going to think I was a lousy mom until they realize I was the loser taking all the pictures.

P.S I totally posed baby Iggy for all his shots for the purpose of this blog haha. I'm ALWAYS carrying him so I usually don't have as many pictures of him as Anna, but I feel bad about that still.

Anna was in such high spirits after our little adventures she peeled off baby Iggy's socks for him (he likes to be as nude as possible) when we got home.
