Anna and baby Iggy are like little bears hibernating, they've been sleeping in later and going to bed earlier, LOVE.

I love watching their relationship blossom. Baby Iggy looks at Anna with pure adoration and she giggles at him and rubs his head now instead of those brute pats she would give him a few months ago.

Okay I'm going to look like a terrible mom because of this, but Anna took foreeeevver to learn how to sip from a straw. She was nearly a year old and we tried to give her sips from our straws from the time she was around 8 months old. It was cute and sad because she would get embarrassed that she couldn't and bury her face in her hands or our chests. Well she learned eventually and she developed a love for frapp's. On Sunday we went to Iggy's oldest brother Sergio's house to watch the football game and my sister-in-law breezed in from shopping with a Starbucks frappuccino and I inwardly shrank because I knew Anna was going to want it. Sure enough she gets up from where she was playing and politely points and giggles to Michelle's drink. She flipped her lid when we all told her no and I won the bad mom of the year award. Poor Michelle had to wrap her drink in baby Ezekiel's blanket and sip it covertly. I feel terrible about it because Anna obviously doesn't know she shouldn't have it, I just look like a terrible holdout on delicious drinks.
Today Iggy wrapped up work early and brought me a Coffee Bean ice blended, my absolute FAVORITE that I don't get to enjoy often because there is only one near me and lacks a drive thru and there's no way i can wrangle both kids in and out without getting looks. Anna saw him walk in with it and she was like "OH MY GOSH I SO NEEDED A PICK ME UP" and beamed him a smile and took it. And because Iggy is wrapped around Anna's little finger he let her.

(p.s this was like my fave dress/tights combo from last year and she fits in it still! yay!)
I haven't really taken the kids out all week because of my shin splints so when Iggy needed to head out for a meeting I offered to take him so we could go out for a bit after.
We ended up right in front of a Polly's Pies, so when the kids were getting antsy I went in. Iggy said he walked out of the meeting to an empty car but he figured: Anna+Grace+nearby pie restaurant= already seated haha.

((Anna ALWAYS feeds me a little of her food, I love it.)

I ordered Anna a cheeseburger (btw we have plans to go there JUST for their amazing cheeseburgers that we didn't know were so good) and fries because she didn't like her lunch and Iggy and I each ordered pie and later agreed to share one next time like we always do :p
We haven't really gone out to eat in a restaurant in a long time and it felt sweet. Fall makes me especially sentimental and happy because I met Iggy in the fall and fell in love for the first time and now we celebrate so many amazing things in the fall (wedding anniversary, his birthday, the kids birthdays, my birthday).
We met in our hometown and stayed there so it's kind of cool to sit in these restaurants he took me to after school with our little babies now.
