over the weekend:

we didn't really do anything special.

we had to go to santa monica for some errands and iggy was in no mood to do anything fun. he said to just drive back home and we'd think of something later and i was like HELLO! we're in santa monica now!! fun-a-palooza!! i wanted to go to the aquarium and the beach but he wasn't having it. he even promised to get disney passes soon if i would just cork it, so i did.



anna has always hated being held a weird way or spun around but this little thrill seeker likes hanging out on my shoulders.








look at his new shoes! i told iggy that i really needed new comfortable shoes for work so he went to the store to surprise me and........baby iggy got new jordans and vans, and anna, the very last person who needs shoes got light up princess shoes and then they were acting up too much so he went home and didn't buy me anything haha. he did watch them for me so i could go get myself some the next day though. i was tempted at the register to put back my goofy running shoes and get some matching j's with baby iggy but i really needed comfortable shoes.

and i bought him that little outfit at target, and his cap was pre-loved by his cousins andre and chris. i have a ton of baby gap caps that my sister was was obsessed with for her kids that i can finally start using.

and drumroll......the dress anna is probably going to wear for easter.........







i love it! i'm a little ashamed to admit i have bought very little from gwen stefani's mini harujuku line from target. i was initially very excited when i heard about it because i love gwen stefani, but a lot of it just wouldn't look good on my chubby lady. i tend to buy her more flowy tops and stretchy pants or loose dresses.



iggy had to work on his car sunday, so my mom invited me to go shopping with her. we went to nordstrom rack first where i bought 4 tops for 40 bucks because they were having a HUGE sale. i have a tricky time at nordstrom rack because it's either a hit or miss with me. sometimes i don't like anything and other times are like past sunday where i want the whole store. they had free people tops for like 30.00 (my mom bought me three :D ), and all sorts of goodies i might be going back for this week (i had to tell myself to slow down). a lot of people i know don't like norstrom rack BUT i only like the one i go to in brea. it's kind of out of the way in a shopping center as opposed to the ones in malls where everything is picked over and over priced.

afterwards we went to the mall where my mom excitedly wanted to take the kids to get a picture with the Easter bunny.

the line was curved around the photo area so the kids didn't see the bunny until it was time to take the picture:



i almost died laughing and my mom almost died of embarrassment. the girl asked me if i still wanted a picture of them crying and i was like "uh... YEAH". the worst part was their screams scared the other kids and pretty much every kid in line was crying after that.

it's going to be fun to show their prom dates later right?
