Let’s start this blog post off by saying that I am no expert when it comes to warfare and all that military stuff. But, for the sake of this blog post I did a little research and, quite frankly, I really don’t think North Korea can pose as a serious threat to the USA.
A couple of days ago, Lil Kim (that’s just my own personal slang for the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un) made a video demonstrating his nuclear arsenal parade. In addition to the parade, he also made a direct nuclear threat to California (closest state to NK borders). That made me think – what if he really launches a nuclear missile to the USA? Would that result in a tragical scenario?
Well, it is not that likely. You see, from what I’ve managed to find out online, the North Korean nuclear program is not nearly as advanced as that of USA. Their nuclear program is somewhere along the lines of USA… during the WWII. So basically, what I am trying to say here is that they are using a technology more than 50 years old.
Even if they decide to launch a nuclear strike on the USA, chances are low that they’ll even reach the skies. Why? Well, they have had just a few tests and even if they did manage to get them up and running, USA has a dozen of airstrike protection systems. These ensure that Lil Kim’s missiles don’t hit their target.
And finally, one last thing worth mentioning is the fact that these systems COULD BE faulty. I’m not trying to scare you guys, but it’s a fact. These anti-airstrike systems are based on high technology but have yet to be tested in real war scenarios. While I do believe our military scientists know what they’re doing (I mean, just look at that MOAB they dropped on those tunnels), I’m just trying to inform you there is a small chance of something going wrong…
Let’s take a couple of facts into consideration before going into an in-depth discussion! First of all, North Korea has always been a problem. Ever since they separated from South Korea, the entire world new that they’ll end up having big problems. As a matter of fact, North Korea is technically the only surviving true dictatorship with an unpredictable leader. Kim Jong Il was unpredictable too, but not nearly as much as his son, Kim Jong Un. It seems as though, with these new threats coming from Pyongyang, Kim Jong Un (Lil Kim from now on) is not joking.
Now, even though North Korea does not have the power to effectively defeat even their closest neighbors, South Korea, their leader might think otherwise. I’m sure you all know about the strict propaganda that’s going on in North Korea. Their leader feeds his people with false news, making them think North Korea is the biggest force in the world. With that being said, we are slowly coming to the real problem. You see, their propaganda (and the lack of connection with the rest of the world) might even lead Kim Jon Un to believe in his own fairy tales… as absurd as that might sound.
Even though his country is among the poorest ones in the world, there is a small chance he could think otherwise. Perhaps he really is sure that North Korea is a force to be reckoned with. Perhaps that’s why he plans on using one of his nukes – to assert his strength to the rest of the world. Of course, that would leave him and pretty much everyone else in North Korea wiped completely off the map.
So, to summarize – North Korea now seems more dangerous than ever… So yeah, it can be considered a problem. Despite that, with the sheer technological power, the rest of the world has, it’s obvious that Lil Kim cannot do plenty of damage to anyone other than himself and his people.
French elections are getting closer. With some people claiming these elections are going to shape Europe over the next couple of years, the rest of the world is looking closely.
France has been having a lot of problems for quite some time now. There were more than a few massive terrorist attacks recently so it’s safe to say that the entire country is in an alarmed state. Ever since the Charlie Hebdo attack, France has been rubbing the ground and constantly struggling with the potential terrorist attacks. Come to think of it, the entire Europe is in a sticky situation ever since the flock of immigrants from Africa and the Middle East started swarming in… European loose policies might end up hurting them in the long run. And if the excess of immigrants really does end up causing problems there, I fully support Trump (that’s the first and last time you’ll see that coming out of my keyboard) and his immigration policies.
Just a couple of days ago, there was another terrorist which led to speculations that the French elections were to be postponed. In the end, the elections won’t be moved to another date and the first round will start as planned. While I won’t go into the discussion whether or not the French elections will shape up the entire Europe, I will say one thing – with Erdogan’s referendum in Turkey (the referendum granted him full power; Turkey is basically a dictatorship now), Putin’s indirect threats to both NATO and USA, Kim Jong Un’s official war announcement and Trump (yes, TRUMP doesn’t need to do anything in order to seem problematic), it seems as though the world is set for another major conflict. I just hope that these latter 4 (who are already being called the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse) will put their sheer stupidity aside and save us from the disaster that could unravel on the entire world if just one nuke goes off…
